Hello, my name is Christie Smotherman.  I am very excited for the opportunity to be your Kindergarten teacher.  I have taught school for ten years, eight of which have been in the Pre-K or Kindergarten classroom.  I am a graduate of Oklahoma State University and love working as an educator.  My family recently moved from Texas to the Deer Creek area.  I have been married to my husband for nineteen years.  I have two sons, Austin, a junior at DCHS and Braden, an eighth grader at DCMS.
