Outside of school, my family is my favorite subject.
My husband, Mike, and I have been married for 35
years. Mike is the owner of Jaggers' Consulting &
Presentations and also teaches class for a local
university. We have three handsome sons who are our
pride and joy. Our oldest son, Steve, works for an
architecture firm in Tulsa. Brian, our middle son,
works in computer aided designing & drafting and is
married to Alecia, who is also a 3rd grade teacher.
They are the parents of our first baby grandson who
loves to spend time with Grams & Grandpa. Our
youngest son, Kent, and his wife, Kayla, live in Ft.
Worth where he is attending seminary.
My husband and I both grew up in Bartlesville,
Oklahoma where our parents still live. After we
married, we moved back to Bartlesville for 13 years
where our boys were born and where Mike was a high
school teacher and coach.
After staying home with our boys when they were
young, I went back to school at Bartlesville
Wesleyan College where I graduated Summa Cum Laude
in 1992 with a degree in Elementary Education. We
moved to Oklahoma City that same year and I began
teaching 3rd grade at Deer Creek Elementary School.
In 2004, I achieved National Board Certification.
After 18 years, I am still excited to be teaching
3rd grade!
We are active members of Quail Springs Baptist
Church. In my free time I
like
to take walks, read, cross stitch, and do other
crafts. Of course, I cherish the little bits of
time that we have with our kids and grandson!
Life is good!
