I am blessed to be part of an amazing 2nd grade team here at Grove Valley!  Having taught 2nd grade twelve years, I'm very excited about all of the possibilities that lie ahead this year at Grove Valley Elementary!

I am a graduate of Oklahoma State University, where I received a degree in Speech Pathology as well as my Early Childhood Teacher Certification.  Since that time, I have been in the classroom, teaching first, second, and third grades.  I am trained in Great Expectations and have extensive experience with Literacy First.

My wonderful husband of 14 years, Aaron, is a veterinarian.  We are the proud parents of three great kids who all attend Grove Valley.   Our daughter Rylie is a 5th grade student, Sidney is a 3rd grader, and our son Garrison is so excited to finally be in Kindergarten.    We love spending time with our Lifegroup, watching OSU sports, riding bikes, playing golf, and just spending time together!  The newest member of our family is a Brussels Griffon named "Britt".

I am so excited to return to 2nd grade at Grove Valley and look forward to meeting each of you as we work together to make 2011-2012 an "all star" year!
