Grove Valley Receives $2500 Cox Connects Grant

The Grove Valley Media Center is the proud recipient of a $2500 grant from the Cox Connects Foundation.  The grant, written by Media Specialist Wendy Frailey, is titled, "Linking Technology and Text" and will be used to purchase electronic books to add to the media center's e-book collection.  Thank you, Cox Connects Foundation!

Grove Valley art teacher Jaime Spencer has been recognized by Artsonia for outstanding leadership in the area of Arts Education at Grove Valley Elementary.

The Leadership Award presented to Jaime Spencer honors teachers who go beyond the classroom walls to encourage family and community involvement in arts education.

This is a great, easy way to earn money for our school!

To receive your student’s bus stop information, please go to the District Website @ www.deercreekschools.org.

1)     Click  “Parents”

2)     Click  “Transportation”

If you are NEW to the school district, you do not have a computer, you have questions, your address or riding status has changed please contact the Transportation Department for new details.  … Meanwhile, please continue to provide other means of transportation for your student until you have spoken with the Transportation Department.

Also on the district website you will find:   FAQ’s, contact information, school bus rider rules, housing addition listing, etc.

Elementary Students:  Individual Bus Tags for your book bag are available in your school site’s office.

Please arrive 10 minutes early at your bus stop.  Routes can run up to 10 minutes behind.
