I am so excited about teaching 3^rd grade at Grove Valley Elementary this school year.  I spent my first 9 years of teaching in 3^rd grade and the past 10 years teaching 2^nd grade.  I look forward to working with 3^rd graders again and motivating your child to their full potential.  What a wonderful age.

My family and I moved to Edmond from Fort Gibson this summer.  My husband, Lance is the new CFO for Deer Creek Schools.  We have 3 children.  Coleman will be a freshman, Grace will be in 5^th grade, and Cooper will be in Kindergarten.  They each love school along with several sports.  We have enjoyed meeting people in the church services we’ve attended.  We look forward to meeting many more during the school year.

I graduated with an elementary education degree from Northeastern State University.  I have been trained in Great Expectations, Response to Intervention, Schools Attuned, OERB, Developmental Reading Assessments, and all phases of Literacy First.  I believe teaching in the Deer Creek school system will enable me to continue to grow as a professional educator.  I can’t wait to get started.
