My name is Krista Motley and I am so excited about being the Speech-Language
Pathologist at Grove Valley Elementary this year. I graduated from the
University of Central Oklahoma with my Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology
in May 2010. Children have always been a huge part of my life. I was raised
in a small town where my father was the elementary principal from the time I
started kindergarten until I graduated high school. I spent many hours
before and after school with him, so working with children in a school
setting comes natural for me. During my first year of graduate school, I was
given the opportunity to work in the UCO Hearing Impaired Preschool. This
was an amazing experience for me, where we used a total communication
approach with all of the children at all times. I am so excited to meet all
of the children and their families at Grove Valley.

In my spare time, I like to spend time with my husband, Dylan,and
our families. We have two adorable nieces, Riley and Jamie. We spend as
much time as we can with them. I also enjoy babysitting for several families
in the community. Most of our weekends starting in May are spent at the
lake. Then in the fall on the weekends we are at most of the home OU
football games. Boomer Sooner!
